California Duck Hunting Search Engine:
Links

The below links are high quality sites that we frequently visit and evaluate. This is a constantly evolving area that will continue to grow as we add more and more sites. We intend this links section to be the de-facto waterfowler's connection to the best sites by category on the world wide web. The links are provided to help you get the right products, accessories and information to learn more about duck hunting. If you have suggestions for more categories or links, please send your request to david@borgesoutdoors.com. We only post high quality sites.

California Dept. of Fish and Game Hunting Locations

These are California Deptartment of Fish and Game sites, so the links will take you to their website where you can find the latest information (there's too many sites to manage all the data here). Not all sites are duck hunting locations, so research carefully and study maps. You can still hunt not so well known properties that hold ducks.

I find the DFG website particularly helpful these days since they changed their user interface to be more friendly and informative.

Refuge System, Maps and Hunting Regulations

The Gorp website has a very nice listing of the Refuge system in California. "The six refuges and conservation easements in the Sacramento NWR Complex, 50 miles north of Sacramento, are largely responsible for meeting the needs of both the wintering waterfowl and many other migratory birds that pass through each season."

These are often overlooked, but are certainly available to California Duck Hunters to explore for duck hunting. There are rivers and lakes in these properties, and all state regulations apply.
